Champions Curling Academy Lessons

Private Lesson Packages are offered through Champions Curling Academy and taught by Association of Curling Professionals (ACP) Pros. Lessons are aimed toward intermediate and advanced curlers. For novice curlers, please see our Smart Start and Rookie League programs below.

Individual Lessons feature custom tips to address your technical issues, before and after videos to highlight your progress, and practice drills you can work on in between lessons. 

Our Semi-Private and Team Lessons are a great way for teammates to improve their skills together. The content can be technical and/or tactical in nature, and can be customized to meet your group's specific needs.

Please note that the curler or team will be responsible for the ice rental fees.

Season Duration: September 9, 16, & 23, 2026 
Session Time: Wednesdays, 6:30 PM - 8:15 PM
Program Format: 3 Week Learn-to-Curl Crash Course

Program Overview:
3-Clinic series introducing beginner curlers to the basics of throwing and sweeping, along with what's invovled with game play.

Participants will learn how to throw and sweep effectively, and how to contribute appropriately in a game-like setting.

What to Bring:

• Warm clothing
• Clean indoor runners or curling shoes
• All equipment is provided

Eligibility:
Open to adults of all skill levels
No prior curling experience required

Program Fee:

• $85 + GST (3 Clinics)
• $30 + GST (per Clinic)

Smart Start Learn to Curl | Fall - CLICK TO REGISTER & CLICK 'CONTINUE WITH SIGN UP' TO CREATE A PROFILE

Season Duration: October 28 - December 16, 2026
Session Time: Wednesdays, 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Note: The first 30 minutes of each session is in the classroom. 
Program Format: 8-week in-depth program focused on mastering the basic skills of curling

Program Overview:
This Learn-to-Curl course is aimed at adult beginning curlers who are motivated to build strong fundamentals before the start of the regular season.

Participants will learn how to throw and sweep effectively, and how to contribute appropriately in a game-like setting.

What to Bring:

• Warm clothing
• Clean indoor runners or curling shoes
• All equipment is provided

Eligibility:
Open to adults of all skill levels
No prior curling experience required

Program Fee:

• $225 + GST

Rookie League | Fall - CLICK TO REGISTER & CLICK 'CONTINUE WITH SIGN UP' TO CREATE A PROFILE

Season Duration: October 21 - December 9, 2026
Game Time: Wednesdays, 8:30 PM – 10:15 PM
Game Format: Each team will play 8 games 

Entry:
Registration is individual only
Teams will be formed on the first night of the league

Eligibility:
Open to beginner curlers, aged 18+
Recommended: One Smart Start session prior to registering

Description: 

This instructor-guided league is aimed at curlers with less than two years of experience, and ideally those who have taken Smart Start.

After a first-night clinic, everyone will play seven coached games.

Registration is individual, with teams potentially changing each week.

• All equipment is provided

League Fee:
