Saville Curling is proud to offer a large variety of leagues that accommodate a wide range of curlers. So, whether you’re a recreational player or someone competitive; if you’re young, old or somewhere in-between, we are sure to have a league suitable for you.

Sunday Open University Fun League – Fall/Winter (15 Weeks)

Season Duration: October 19, 2025 – March 1, 2026
Game Time: Sundays at 7:00 PM
Game Format: 8 ends with a buzzer to ensure games finish on time

Team Entry:
Enter as an open team of four
Individual entries will also be considered (each player must register individually)

Eligibility: Open to curlers of all skill levels, age 18 or older

League Format: Round-robin or pool play, based on number of teams entered

Club Championship Playoffs:
Women’s and mixed teams from this league are eligible to qualify for the Club Championship playoffs
Winners will represent the Saville Centre at:

  • EACC Cities

Club Championship Dates:

  • Women’s: February 27 – March 1, 2026 (subject to change)
  • Mixed: March 13 – 15, 2026 (subject to change)

Eligibility: Open to curlers of all skill levels, age 18 or older

League Overview:

  • Game Time: Thursdays at 6:15 PM
  • Game Format: 8 ends with a buzzer to ensure games finish on time
  • Team Entry:
    • Enter as a mixed team of four, playing alternating positions
    • Individual entries will also be considered (each player must register individually)
  • Eligibility: Open to curlers of all skill levels, age 18 or older
  • League Format: Round-robin or pool play, based on number of teams entered

Club Championship Playoffs:

  • Top teams in the league will qualify for the Club Championship playoffs
  • The winner of the Club Championship will represent the Saville Centre at:
    • EACC Cities

Club Championship Dates: March 13 – 15, 2026 (subject to change)

League Fee: $400.00/person

Annual Fee: $2,600.00

    • A "returning team" must include either the skip (fourth stone thrower) or three returning team members

Program Format: 8-week in-depth program focused on mastering the basic skills of curling

Program Overview:
Smart Start is designed for adult beginners who are new to the sport and want to build a strong foundation in curling fundamentals.

What to Bring:

  • Warm clothing
  • Clean indoor runners or curling shoes
  • All equipment is provided

Eligibility:
Open to adults of all skill levels
No prior curling experience required

League Fee and Discounts:

  • $195 / Public

Eligibility:
Open to beginner curlers, aged 18+
Recommended: One Smart Start session prior to registering

Description: 

This instructional league is aimed at curlers with less than two years of experience, and ideally those who have taken Smart Start.

After a first-night clinic, everyone will play seven coached games.

Registration is individual, with teams potentially changing each week.

All equipment is provided
